Our vision is to promote excellence in education for both the Medtech industry and research and development in Australia, New Zealand and internationally.

We achieve this with our world-class, purpose-built facility which includes imaging capabilities, instrumentation, and conference rooms. The staff at Vasculab includes a dedicated team of experienced Technicians who share a broad range of background skills in allied health and health sciences.

In 2015 Vasculab was the concept of David Fakhry and Dr Tom Oxley who realised there was a need for a specialist facility in Australia to adequately train techniques in clot retrieval from the brain, a rapidly developing procedure at the time.

From there, Vasculab was developed and has since diversified into not just angiographic procedures but further into all areas of surgery including trauma, orthopaedic, spine, general and laparoscopic. The concept was to always offer both high level customer service at a world class facility.
