1. Do you provide PPE?

Yes, VascuLab provides all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) included in your fee such as scrubs, gowns, gloves, shoe covers, and face masks.

2. What specialist equipment do you have available onsite?

VascuLab offers a range of specialist equipment onsite including;

  • 2 x mobile C-arms with lead and staff to operate
  • 1 x ultrasound machine
  • 4 x diathermy machines
  • 4 x anaesthetic towers
  • Autoclave
  • Industrial Dishwasher
  • Basic Instruments

Any equipment not available onsite VascuLab can help to find a solution/ organise rental equipment.

3. Do you provide catering?

VascuLab offers tea, coffee, and milk onsite. Please consult the document titled “VascuLab Catering Suggestions” to guide you in making catering choices.

4. What do I have to do for ethics?

VascuLab prides itself on its exemplary customer service, which includes managing ethics approval for all workshops. Clients are exempt from paperwork related to ethics approval. On the day of the workshop all new visitors must sign a code of conduct and complete the short induction video before entering the lab space.

5. What type of animal labs do you conduct?

VascuLab conducts workshops involving large sized animals such as pigs and sheep. VascuLab veterinary technicians are responsible for sedating, intubating and monitoring the animals during the procedure.

6. How many stations can we have at once?

VascuLab can accommodate;

  • 8 operating tables simultaneously
  • 4 animal stations simultaneously
  • 4 stations with mobile C-arms simultaneously

7. Can you conduct pre-operative CT scans?

Yes, VascuLab can conduct pre-operative CT scans.

8. Can I run a lab on a Sunday?

Yes, VascuLab operates workshops 24/7, including on Sundays.

9. How do I get there?
